| Leidner Services is the brainchild of my imagination. Leidner Services will be the name of my own full blown small business. I currently offer these services, but have not officially created the company at the moment. I have longed to be self employed. Self employment gives one the ability to pursue their passions. I have a few passions, they are GOD, youth, and snakes, in that order. Leidner Services will give me the time to pursue God, minister to students (through Element Student Church), and finally to keep and breed snakes. South Texas Herps, is the first adventure of Leidner Services. Through South Texas Herps, I breed and maintain a collection of North American Colubrid snakes. My main areas of concentration are: Grey-Banded Kingsnakes (Lampropeltis alterna) and corn snakes (Elaphe guttata). I also have a few common Kingsnakes (Lampropeltis getula sp.) and Mexicana Kingsnakes (Lampropeltis mexicana sp.). I am currently working on creating some hybrids, using corn snakes and common kingsnakes. Through South Texas Herps, I remove venomous and non-venomous "problem" reptiles. Prices for removal are in based on distance traveled and type of snake(s) removed. I am also available to do reptile and snakes presentations to students (PK to 12th Grade). If I had one other passion in life it would be food. I love Bar-B-Que. I have for many years. Over the years I have developed the ability to cook, what some have called "amazing" and "life-changing" BBQ. I am available to cater your small group needs. I currently do not have the ability to cater for much more than 200 people. Right now 200 is about my max. In the future I plan on getting some better equipment so that I can better serve you. I BBQ beef brisket or pulled pork, your choice. I provide beans - A La Mike and your choice of either potato salad or mashed potatoes. Click here for pricing and availability. Last but not least, I was born and raised hunting. I love to hunt and fish. I have a B.S. in Range and Wildlife Management (minor in Biology) and am available for all of your wildlife consulting needs. I can advise you over the phone or I can come out to your property, and while there analyze your data and habitat and give you the best plan to meet your goals as a land owner. I can tell you for starters I am a big fan of habitat manipulation, and can help you implement habitat improvements, that will in turn, improve the quality of wildlife on your property. I also, guide quail hunts. Mostly I guide on the King Ranch, but I can bring and provide dogs, and a truck to hunt out of, to your property, or you can book a hunt with us on the King Ranch. I can also guide duck hunts on the famous Baffin Bay, located just outside of Kingsville, TX. Where we hunt; we kill a lot of Northern Pintail, Red Heads, Lesser Scaup, and Buffleheads. Other common waterfowl include Blue-Wing Teal, American Wigeon, Gadwall, Mottled Ducks, Northern Shovelers, Whistling Ducks, Greater White Fronted Geese, Snow Geese, Sandhill Cranes, and the occasional Golden Eye, Cinnamon Teal (4 last year), or Lesser Canada Goose.
